Lisa Tanaka recently rejoined the SBR team, taking a break from event services to focus on sales support and we are so fortunate to have her back!

Lisa spent years in a completely different industry, working behind-the-scenes in the editing room of Harpo Studios for the one and only Oprah Winfrey. Towards the end of her tenure at Harpo, Lisa began to feel the desire to make a change and try something new. This change would lead her to the hospitality industry, where she worked off-premise as a vending server, team leader, and catering coordinator.

What Lisa loves most about her newest endeavor is learning about all the planning that goes into an event. Seeing the vision come to life, as guests and clients enjoy themselves is the most gratifying part for her.

Outside of work, Lisa is the mother to two dogs alongside her husband, Gary. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, shopping, and eating - not necessarily in that order!
