Event Director

In true barbecue form, Luis can credit his introduction to SBR Events Group with a whole hog. While working elsewhere, Luis was tasked with delivering a whole hog to our catering office. Here he met Duce Raymond, who let him know there was a position waiting for him if he ever wanted to work here. 

Sure enough, two weeks later, Luis was hired on the spot as a server. Not long after, Luis began working as our beverage coordinator, ordering and inventorying product, as well as creating drink recipes and advising on client selections. He has now been with the company for close to 10 years and has been an absolute asset for us as one of our key event directors on site. 

Luis’s favorite parts of his job are going out to meet clients, not being stuck in an office all day, and that every day is something new. He loves the people he works with and the clients he meets every day on site at jobs. 

In his free time, Luis loves to try new food and beverage, spending time with his family, and riding his motorcycle when we finally have some beautiful weather.
